1980 Fiat Brava (aka 131 Coupe)

Friends, meet Gil Cormaci and his Fiat Brava. This Brava is a little… special.

The diminutive two-door sedan has clocked over 500,000 miles since Fiat enthusiast Cormaci bought it new in 1980.

For those of us playing along in metric, that’s a smidge over 804,000 kilometres. That’s crazy. Not Irv Gordon crazy, but pretty close.

Fiat 500, “Punk Grey”

I asked my 5-year-old son to tell me a story about this car.

It’s an old car that was rusted in a junk yard and then someone found it and made it new. Then they tested it and raced it and it won.

Fiat 130 Maremma

If I was casting a gangster movie set in the disco-punk future my anti-hero assassin would always wear white pointy-toed shows, he’d always wear mirror-tinted aviator sunglasses and he would drive a Fiat 130 Maremma.

1969 Fiat Sport Spider

What’s not to like about the 124 Spider? The lovely, rorty, twin-cam 4; the perfect Pininfarina styling. Lovely.

Oh, there’s one thing to dislike: terminal rust. It’s always the way.

Also, don’t you think that they young lady in the passenger seat looks like Sabine Schmitz? (Of course, if it really was Sabine, she’d be driving.)
