I didn’t know they were borrowing it - I hope they wash it before they bring it back to me!

Ever since Drew Smith quipped that the One-77 looks like “a bag of Zaha Hadid walnuts” that’s all I can see.

  1. Back in the day, Aston would never be so crass as to actually state their rated power.

Aston Martin DB5 (1963)

One very improved DB4. 4 liter engine, producing 282bhp along with three SU carburettors. The Vantage edition added one more carburettor to the line-up and produced 314bhp.

It was also the best Bond car, ever.

Since the DB4, that is, since 1958, Aston have produced 13,000 cars.

On a typical day GM and Ford produce between 10,000 and 20,000 cars. Each.

In 2008 Toyota sold their millionth Prius. In 2009 their two millionth.

The conclusion is obvious. Buy an Aston; save the planet.
